During this part of the unit, we had to design a poster for informing about the blues
Reflection: I had no problem doing this project, everything went very smoothly. However when we put the posters outside some of my text had fallen off.
Significant Concept: Jazz had a foundation in New Orleans and has evolved over time
Areas of interaction: Environment
Unit question: How modern jazz related to its roots and how it has evolved over time
During this first unit, we had to study the blues scale, and compose blues music.
Reflection: I didn't get to do this on the test day, so i had to do it later. I didn't forget the blues scale, however I didn't compose the song very correctly either, because I jus played what came to mind and used more than 1 blues scale.

We had trouble doign this because for the first few classes we had to change songs so many times, becasue we didn't aggree. Also after we did that, we still had to change so many things. Which is why during the performance we weren't really prepared.
